Hi there! Welcome to my blog!
I’m Ainá, a 54-year-old graphic designer from Rio de Janeiro, currently living with my husband in the countryside of Santa Catarina, a state in the southern region of Brazil. We moved here driven by a desire for a healthier lifestyle, immersed in nature.
My journey with crochet began in my childhood, learning the basics from my mother. However, it was not until I turned 43 that it became a constant part of my life. Since then, I have been practicing, researching, and experimenting with various crochet stitches and techniques.
Now, a little over a decade later, I felt compelled to start this blog. I am extremely grateful for everything I have learned so far, and I would love to share and further develop this knowledge within our ever-growing crochet community.
I would love to inspire you to learn or develop your crochet skills. I believe this craft can improve the quality of life, whether on a personal, emotional, or material level. My goal is to reach as many people as possible. This is why I chose to write in English instead of Portuguese, my mother tongue.
Here, you will learn about my crochet experiments alongside reviews, patterns, and tutorials on basic and advanced crochet techniques. Occasionally, you may also find insights into my lifestyle, whenever they align with the interests of our blog’s community.
I invite you to explore the content available here and I hope you stick around.
